Auto blog car of the month: Car of the month for May 2019

It’s been quite a good first month, and we’ve covered quite a number of topics. But, for the highlight, we’re featuring three automobiles as candidates for the car of the month for May! These cars are the following, which is one of the best options for car buyers. Here are the reasons why they qualified as such.

A. They are all premium and come with great features.
B. Updated models of previous designs that gain popularity by car buyers.
C. Not base models that lack many modern safety features.
D. On the expensive side but value for money.
E. These cars are mid-sized to large, nothing smaller than.

Specifications Consumers deserve the best options incorporating all the safety and performance that cheaper cars lack. Let's see how well they stack up against each other.

A. Toyota Hi-Ace 2019 ( several variants) Passengers: 12+ Transmission: 6 AT - 6 MT Body type: Van Displacement: 2.8-Liter Horsepower: 174 Ps Torque: 420-450 Nm Fuel: Diesel Drive train: RWD Best for City/ All-terrain: City Comfort level: Excellent

B. Mitsubishi Strada 2019 (AT 4WD) Passengers: 5 Transmission: 6 AT Body type: Pickup Displacement: 2.4-Liter Horsepower: 179 Ps Torque: 430 Nm Fuel: Diesel Drive train: 4WD Best for City/ All-terrain: Both Comfort level: Good

C. Toyota Fortuner 2019 (AT 4WD) Passengers: 5+2 (extra seats in cargo bay) Transmission: 6 AT Body type: SUV wagon Displacement: 2.8-Liter Horsepower: 174 Ps Torque: 450 Nm Fuel: Diesel Drive train: 4WD Best for City/ All-terrain: Both Comfort level: Excellent

Pros and cons These cars have their pros and cons of why they are good or bad, but the bottom line is where they are used best. Comparisons aren’t that valid when comparing incompatible cars, but each has an advantage over the other. Here is some input that should set the thing clear and determine the best car. It does not always feature but a mix of everything.

A. Toyota Hi-Ace 2019 ( several variants)
Why should you get it? If you need a commuter van or a car that has a big passenger capacity, then get it. It has more room and enough comfort inside, a Grandia version that has captain seats will be available soon! Redesign and improved engine is plus with roomier area at the front. Perfect for long road trips and diesel, not gasoline is used. Better ride with a good suspension and multi-zone auto AC. Easy to maintain
Why should you not? Want something smaller? this is not it. It’s way too big and not as fast as other cars. The tag price can be a bit expensive too, the suspension is best for city driving that isn’t as good as SUVs or a pickup.

B. Mitsubishi Strada 2019 (AT 4WD) Why should you get it?
If you’re not too picky, and seating five passengers are enough, then get this pickup. It’s been updated inside and out with a truck bed to carry anything that could fit in it. Decent performance and safety features for all passengers, with a 2.5-liter engine that’s good at towing too. The inside is improved for passenger comfort, that includes auto AC, infotainment and will fjord flood better than any car.
Why should you not?
The ride is not like a sedan, and it’s an SUV that is tuned for rougher roads, does not come with adjustments to the shock dampers. Another reason is that it is more expensive to maintain with the semi-off road components. Having a five-seater cab may not be enough when more family members are to ride in it.

C. Toyota Fortuner 2019 (AT 4WD)
Why should you get it?
Unlike a pickup truck, the Fortuner has many features that aren’t found in cheaper cars. The improved cabin is accentuated with premium elements that make it rival more expensive cars. It can handle any terrain with 4WD and other features that make it the top of its class. There are extra jump seats in the back that can be used or set aside when not in use. A complete suite of performance and safety features, including a 2.8-Liter engine that is also similar to the 2019 Hi-Ace. Its value for money and road trips to hard to reach camping sites is easily reached with the 4WD gearbox.
Why should you not?
It might be a bit expensive, but it ranks high in reliability and resale value. Or if you’re keen on a bigger SUV to seat more people.

What is the best between the three? The best option to pick from the van, pickup, and SUV wagon depends on where you plan to drive it. But, we need a definite choice to make the decision final. As the final choice for the car of the month for May, the best pick is based on the following.
a. Versatility
b. Passenger comfort
c. Performance
d. Value for money

Based on these criteria, the 2019 Fortuner is the best option because of what it offers for motorists, despite a higher tag price.
a. As an SUV wagon, it can handle city and has all-terrain handling.
b. Not all cars are made to seat a whole gang of passengers. This is SUV can seat seven with the back jump seats folded down. The compartment is improved further to boost passenger comfort with needed amenities.
c. A turbo diesel engine that is 2.8- liters that offer more than enough horsepower and torque.
d. Yes. It does not come cheap, but it has complete basic and advanced safety features.

The Fortuner scores a four over four that is a good indication of what it offers those who choose it. Plus, there is a trend that leans towards SUV and crossovers that make them complete as options. There’s no hindrance to choosing the Hi-Ace or the Strada. but the Fortuner combines the best of features.
